History :

A prolific painter, decorator, poster artist, and designer, Georges de Feure was chosen by Siegfried Bing (1838-1905) to create the exterior decor for the Bing Art Nouveau Pavilion at the l’Exposition Universelle of 1900. In addition to this project, their collaboration continued with the creation of two interiors for the same pavilion, including a bathroom in which this dressing table, or an identical model, was displayed.

Pavillon de l’Art Nouveau Bing – Exposition Universelle of 1900 – Paris, from April 14 to November 12, 1900. An identical dressing table, or our dressing table, was displayed in the powder room of this Pavilion during the event.
