History:

Founded in 1844 by Carl Gottlieb Erhard, the German manufacturer Erhard & Söhne is renowned for its production of brass, gilded bronze, and silver objects. It regularly designs pieces using the intarsia technique of inlaying precious wood into brass. The finesse of the craftsmanship and the precision of the cut-out motifs give these pieces a certain preciousness. Our lamp is truly poetic, with its lampshade's meticulously openwork band evoking a flight of butterflies and dragonflies.
